The old Dominion Textile warehouse was converted into office space by Bos Advertising using plans drawn up by Luc Laporte. He’s a Montreal architect known best for his work on the Just for Laughs Museum, Club Soda, restaurants L’Express, Laloux, Leméac, Via Roma and Café du Nouveau Monde, not to mention the new restaurant at l’Institut de tourisme et d’hôtellerie du Québec.

In 2007, the renovation was recognized with two prestigious design awards from Créativité Montréal: Grand Prize for office with over 10,000 square feet (Grand Prix dans la catégorie Bureau de plus de 10 000 pieds carrés) and the Special Jury Prize (Prix spécial du jury), the highest distinction awarded.

These awards are also shared by designer René Desjardins. Among his accomplishments are the offices of Max Films, Janor and Zoom Media, plus other residential projects in Montréal, New York and Mexico.

The space inside Les Entrepôts Dominion is pure. The lighting is simple. And you'll find a wall socket almost everywhere you look. Plus, each hall has a caterer-friendly space, a coat check and slick washroom facilities, complete with all amenities.

The floors are sealed concrete. The ceilings are 17 feet high and feature exposed redwood beams, ventilation ducts and piping. The walls are a mixture of red brick and gyprock dividers – a must for an industrial look.
